Meet Premium Foam.
Our spray foam division.

A Division of CCL Contracting

Spray foam is the highest-impact upgrade most RGV homes can make — and where bad installs cause the most damage. We launched Premium Foam to do one thing better than anyone in the Valley: install spray foam that actually performs in this climate.

Same crew. Same construction-degreed leadership. Same standards as the rest of CCL — focused exclusively on closed-cell, open-cell, roof foam, and batt insulation. From McAllen attics to Brownsville commercial roofs, Premium Foam is how we keep the Valley cool.

Quality is a habit,
not a slogan.

A lot of contractors will tell you they care about quality. We live by it — and we've built our reputation in the Rio Grande Valley one project at a time. Here's what that looks like in practice.

  • i.

    Construction-Degreed Leadership

This isn't our first job site. Our team is backed by formal construction degrees and decades of combined field experience across commercial, residential, and renovation work.

  • ii.

Local to the RGV — Always

We're based in Weslaco. We live here, our families are here, and our reputation lives or dies in this community. That's why every project gets the attention it deserves.

  • iii.

Communication You Can Set Your Watch To

You'll know what's happening, what's next, and what it'll cost — start to finish. No vanishing acts. No surprise invoices. Just straight talk and steady progress.

  • iv.

    Built to Outlast Us

The creative process gets forgotten. The work doesn't. We build with the materials, methods, and craftsmanship that hold up to South Texas heat, weather, and time.

  • v.

Premium Foam — Spray Foam Done Right

Our spray foam division operates with the same standards as the rest of CCL — but focused. We use the right foam for the right application, get the install dialed for RGV climate, and stand behind every job because spray foam is permanent and bad installs are expensive to undo.

The proof is in the build.

Real projects, real homes, real businesses across the Rio Grande Valley. Custom outdoor builds, full home renovations, additions, and complete exterior transformations — every one of them delivered by our team in Weslaco, McAllen, Harlingen, and beyond.

More projects coming. Yours could be next.

Calvin and his team are the best! We wanted to do an extension to our outdoor patio plus add an outdoor kitchen. They extended it out, added all the stamped concrete, a fireplace, and the appliances and kitchen area. 10/10 would recommend and will continue using!

Questions, answered.

The questions homeowners and business owners across the RGV ask us most. Don't see yours? Reach out.

What areas do you serve in the Rio Grande Valley?
CCL Contracting serves the entire Rio Grande Valley from our Weslaco base at 415 S Airport Dr A. That covers all 13 RGV cities: Weslaco, Mercedes, McAllen, Harlingen, Edinburg, Donna, Mission, Pharr, San Juan, Brownsville, San Benito, Alamo, and Raymondville, plus the surrounding Hidalgo, Cameron, and Willacy County areas. Because we are centrally located in the Mid-Valley, most of the region is a short drive, and we do not add drive-up charges anywhere in the Valley. We respond to inquiries within one business hour and typically schedule a free on-site visit within 48 hours. Whether you are in the heart of McAllen, out toward the coast in Brownsville, or up north in Willacy County, if you are in South Texas, give us a call at (956) 463-4117 — we almost certainly cover your area.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CCL Contracting is a fully licensed and insured general contractor in the State of Texas, and we carry the general liability and workers' compensation coverage required for both residential and commercial work. Just as important, our leadership team holds formal construction degrees — so the people running your project are trained builders, not just salespeople. We have operated as a family-owned company in the Rio Grande Valley since 2009, and we pull the proper permits and build to code on every job that requires it, coordinating inspections with your city. Licensing and insurance protect you: they mean the work meets Texas standards and that you are covered if anything goes wrong on site. We are happy to provide proof of licensing and insurance during your free estimate, and our team is fully bilingual.
How long has CCL Contracting been in business?
CCL Contracting has been building in the Rio Grande Valley since 2009 — more than 15 years of combined experience across commercial construction, residential construction, renovations, and property management. We are a family-owned company, and that longevity matters in a region where many contractors come and go: we are still here to stand behind the work we did years ago. Over that time we have grown from core construction into a full-service general contractor with a dedicated spray foam division, Premium Foam, and we hold a 5.0 rating from verified Google reviews. Our construction-degreed leadership and bilingual team have completed roofing, remodels, additions, custom homes, commercial buildouts, and insulation projects across all 13 RGV cities. When you hire CCL, you are hiring a local company with deep Valley roots and a track record you can verify.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. CCL Contracting provides free, no-obligation estimates on every project, large or small. Call (956) 463-4117 or (956) 492-9451 to schedule, and we will respond within one business hour during our business hours (Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 12 PM). For most projects we schedule a free on-site visit within 48 hours so we can see the actual conditions — your roof, attic, walls, or the space you want to remodel — instead of quoting blind. After the visit you receive a detailed, itemized written estimate with material options, so you know exactly what you are paying for and there are no surprises later. There is never any pressure to move forward. We would rather give you honest numbers and a realistic timeline up front and earn the job on that basis.
What types of projects do you take on?
CCL Contracting works across six core categories. Spray foam insulation through our Premium Foam division — closed-cell, open-cell, roof foam, attic, wall, batt, and vinyl-faced insulation. Roofing and storm damage restoration — asphalt shingle, metal, tile, and commercial roofing, with full insurance claim coordination. Kitchen and bath remodeling — cabinets, countertops, tile, and the plumbing and electrical behind them. Room additions and custom homes — additions, casitas, second stories, and ground-up builds. Commercial construction — buildouts, tenant improvements, and commercial roofing for RGV businesses. And full-service renovations and remodeling, including siding, for older and newer Valley homes alike. Because we are a licensed general contractor managing every trade under one roof, we can also combine services — for example, re-roofing a home, encapsulating the attic with spray foam, and remodeling the kitchen as one coordinated project with one point of accountability.
What is Premium Foam and how does it relate to CCL Contracting?
Premium Foam is the spray foam insulation division of CCL Contracting — same ownership, same crew, and the same construction-degreed leadership that runs our general contracting work. We created Premium Foam as a focused brand because spray foam is a specialized trade that deserves dedicated expertise, equipment, and a crew that does it every day. Through Premium Foam we install closed-cell, open-cell, and roof foam, plus attic encapsulation, wall foam, batt insulation, and vinyl-faced insulation for metal buildings — all engineered for the Rio Grande Valley's extreme heat and humidity. The advantage of Premium Foam being part of CCL is that your insulation work is backed by a full general contractor: if your project also touches roofing, walls, or a remodel, the same company handles it. You get specialist foam knowledge and general-contractor accountability in one place, family-owned since 2009.
What's the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Closed-cell spray foam is denser and higher performing: it delivers roughly R-6 to R-7 per inch, acts as both a vapor barrier and an air barrier, resists moisture, and adds structural rigidity to walls and roof decks — which also helps with wind uplift during Rio Grande Valley storms. Open-cell foam is lighter and more affordable, expands more to fill cavities, and is excellent for interior walls, sound dampening, and many attic applications. In the Valley climate, closed-cell is often the choice for roof decks, exterior walls, and anywhere moisture control matters, while open-cell is a cost-effective performer for interior and attic spaces. Most homes benefit from the right mix rather than one or the other. During your free assessment, Premium Foam recommends the foam type, location, and thickness based on your specific home, your goals, and your budget — not a one-size-fits-all spec.
How much can spray foam save on my Rio Grande Valley electric bill?
Most Rio Grande Valley homeowners see 20 to 40 percent lower cooling costs in the first summer after a properly installed spray foam upgrade, and the savings usually show up on the very next electric bill. The reason is simple: RGV attics can reach 130 to 150 degrees on a summer afternoon, and that heat — plus the AC ductwork most Valley homes run through the attic — drives your cooling load all day. Spray foam, especially attic encapsulation, seals the air leaks that traditional fiberglass cannot and keeps that heat out of your living space. Your exact savings depend on your home's age, the condition of your current insulation, your AC system, and which areas you treat. Because spray foam holds its R-value for the life of the home and does not sag or absorb humidity, the savings continue year after year — making it one of the highest-ROI upgrades a Valley home can make.
How long does a typical project take?
Timelines vary by project type, and CCL gives you a realistic schedule in writing up front during the estimate phase. Spray foam installations are usually completed in 1 to 2 days; larger homes or commercial buildings can take 3 to 5 days. Most roof replacements run 1 to 2 days for shingle and 2 to 4 days for metal or tile. A bathroom remodel typically takes 2 to 4 weeks, and a kitchen remodel 4 to 8 weeks, depending on cabinetry and fixture lead times. Room additions commonly run 2 to 4 months, and a full custom home build 6 to 12 months. We sequence the work to minimize disruption, keep the job site clean every evening, and provide regular updates from the on-site project lead — so you always know where your project stands and what comes next.
Do you offer roofing in addition to spray foam?
Yes. CCL Contracting is a full-service roofing contractor across the entire Rio Grande Valley — it is one of our core services alongside spray foam. We install and replace asphalt shingle, metal, tile, and commercial roofing systems, and we handle storm damage restoration with full insurance claim coordination. It is the same crew and the same construction-degreed leadership that runs all of our work, family-owned in the Valley since 2009. Being both a roofer and a spray foam contractor is a real advantage in the RGV: after a re-roof we can add closed-cell foam to the roof deck for wind-uplift resistance and energy savings, all under one contract with one point of accountability. We serve all 13 RGV cities for roofing — Weslaco, McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville, Edinburg, and every city in between — with free roof inspections and itemized written estimates.
Do you handle hail damage roof inspections and insurance claims?
Yes. CCL Contracting provides free hail damage assessments and full insurance claim coordination across the Rio Grande Valley. After a storm, we climb the roof, photograph and document the damage to the standard insurers require, and build the repair scope to match the adjuster's report — and we can meet the adjuster on site. Thorough documentation is the difference between an approved claim and a denied one: we see a 90%-plus claim approval rate when CCL handles the documentation. A few things RGV homeowners should know: Texas generally has a one-year statute of limitations on filing hail and wind claims, so do not wait; hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30; and insurers require evidence of pre-existing condition, which is exactly why a documented pre-season inspection matters. Whether the damage is to shingle, metal, tile, or a flat commercial roof, we handle the inspection, the claim, and the repair.
